DOWSIL Contractors Paintable Sealant Black 20oz Sausage is a one-part, fast-curing, elastomeric hybrid sealant designed for commercial, residential, and light commercial applications. This high-performance STPE hybrid sealant offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of porous and non-porous substrates, including concrete, aluminum, masonry, EIFS, and precast concrete panels—all without the need for a primer.
With exceptional UV resistance, low-VOC formulation, and superior weatherproofing, this non-sagging, paintable sealant is ideal for frame-to-structure sealing, perimeter caulking, and dynamically moving joints such as expansion and control joints. It cures quickly, allowing it to be painted with acrylic or latex-based paints as soon as it is tack-free.
DOWSIL Contractors Paintable Sealant provides a wide service temperature range (-75°F to 300°F) and maintains flexibility with ±50% movement capability, ensuring long-lasting performance in dynamic building applications.
