DOWSIL 756 Bronze SMS Building Sealant is a one-part, medium-modulus, neutral-curing silicone elastomeric sealant designed for weathersealing sensitive substrates where aesthetic performance is a priority. This high-performance sealant is ideal for expansion and control joints, metal panel joints, curtainwall joints, natural stone applications, and perimeter seals around window frames in both new and remedial construction.
DOWSIL 756 cures to form a sleek, dry matte finish, significantly reducing residue rundown on metal panels and reflective glass while minimizing staining on porous substrates. Its excellent weatherability and non-reverting silicone durability make it a long-lasting solution for exterior sealing needs.
This sealant provides unprimed adhesion to glass, brick, granite, and fluoropolymer-painted surfaces, with primed adhesion to marble, limestone, and concrete. It offers all-temperature application from -29°C to 50°C (-20°F to 122°F) and maintains good working and tooling time for smooth installation.
